The game was not as close as the away game a fortnight ago, Shirebrook were a lot stronger than our team all over the park. We faught hard but did’t have the physical presence, fair result.

Bare eleven for both sides, good competitive performance, Shirebrook as they always do when playing down hill with the wind. We coped quite well with there long balls into our box especially with us going in front so early on (Beckett), they equalised with a disputed goal,there player pushing our defender in the back.The wind played a part in there second, straight from a corner right on half time curling in on the back post. 2-1 down at half time we thought we could still get something with the wind to our advantage, we put them under the same pressure and we missed to open goals during the half but they got a third with a poor clearance out of the area.Ecott pulled us back into the game with a great shot from the edge of the box. 3-2 we did our best to get something out of it but not to be.We deserved a draw at least, still not everyone committed to the coarse.

We battled well and held Underwood out to long range shooting, but eventually they capitalised on there possession.0-1. We had some play around there box but failed to shoot when the opportunity was there, we did break more in the second half and we got our just deserves. 1-1 (Ecott).As the game went on and we got tired they got the lead and then from there on our legs just gave up.

Winning Defeat. About time,we had a team performance that justified us being in this league,all be it we lost we did not deserve to and the performance was there to get me excited again. All over the park we worked hard and committed to the challenge if we had done this all season we would not be in the position we are in, lets hope we can see out the season with this commitment and we might just stay up so we can regroup for next year. No room at the inn so we played our home fixture away, might of brought us a bit of luck.Team worked hard through out the game but thought we were going to let it slip from being 3-0 up.The show went to Ecott his first full game of the season,being out with long term injury. He scored a hat-trick and made the other, what have we been missing. Well Done Lads lets hope we can finish on a high.

M.o.m Jordan Roberts. After a 3 week lay off the last thing you want is the top team in the league. We started off the pace, a goal down after 10mins, we then rallied to some sort of performance. 2-0 down at half time was not the end all or what it seem because although they had a lot of possession we did get into there box.The optimism was short lived as we let in another 5 goals.We must compete for the full game and with all the players if we are to stay in this division.

Walesby started very poorly after a long lay off, weather conditions very windy but the same for both sides.Walesby lacked commitment in the first half and came in lucky to be only 1-0 down. After to changes we started a little better but still lost a second goal more agaist the run of play. Chances were dropping to Walesby but not to the extent of Teversal in the first half.Eventually Walesby broke there duck with a goal from Harrison, confidence gave us the impetus to get back in the game and we were creating more chances but to no benefit.The wind died down and Teversal got back in to the game and capitalising on a mistake by the goalkeeper got a deserved third.

Nice to see the effort this week , the result was not that important as the performance from 10 players, just show if we apply our self we are quit capable of getting a result, i hope this game as given us the confidence to go on and start winning. we done to all that turned up.
